Cantonese Opera Young Talent Showcase 1 – “Forty Years of Cherished Love”

The Showcase aims to pass on Cantonese opera, an intangible cultural heritage, to the younger generation. The young artists will stage a wide variety of classic repertoires to show their talent. In the 2025-26 season, under the guidance of six artistic directors—Mr. Loong Koon-tin, Mr. Sun Kim-long, Mr. Roger Chan, Ms. Chan Ka-ming , Mr. Leung Siu-ming together with Ms. Wong Chiu-kwan, this program continues to train the Cantonese opera young talents systematically. Through the stage performance, it not only showcases the skills of emerging performers but also promotes and preserves the cultural treasure of Hong Kong Cantonese opera to the audience.
