Chinese Culture Promotion Office

As a pivotal breeding ground of Chinese civilisation, Luoyang has accomplished outstanding achievements in art and calligraphy, astronomy and traditional crafts. Centered on ‘Heluo Culture’, this exhibition sets up three exhibition areas to recreate the glory of Heluo Culture. Selected cultural relics and documents from this ancient city of Han and Wei dynasties will be displayed on site, and intangible cultural heritage from Henan such as tri-colour glazed ceramics and Luoyang paper-cutting will be presented in a living form. In addition, a costume-changing experience themed on Empress Wu Zetian will be provided, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty. Furthermore, there are expert lectures, workshops and guided tours to lead the public to explore the charm of Central Plains culture in depth.
