Kam Tin Stories – Immersive Interdisciplinary Music Performance

Coinciding with the decennial Jiao Festival in Kam Tin Heung, Yuen Long, the Chinese Culture Promotion Office in collaboration with the performance team led by Dr Mui Kwong-chiu, renowned composer of Hong Kong, will present the ‘Kam Tin Stories – Immersive Interdisciplinary Music Performance’ during the festival period. By integrating original music, dance, recitation and narration, this innovative approach interprets two Kam Tin stories: ‘Bin Mo Bridge’ and ‘The Relocation of the Chou Wong Yi Kung’ with a view to illustrate the rich history and culture of Kam Tin, and praise the excellent traditional values and virtues of China.

No seats will be provided; audience may stand and move around as they wish to view the performance.
