‘Lingnan Harmony: Guangdong Music, Cantonese, and Nanyin’ (Public Sessions)

The ‘Lingnan Harmony: Guangdong Music, Cantonese and Nanyin’, presented by the Chinese Culture Promotion Office of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, in collaboration with the One Table Two Chairs Charitable Foundation, guides students and teachers to a mesmerising musical journey with Nanyin maestro, Professor Yuen Siu-fai and a group of Chinese music maestros. The programme is delivered with an engaging and lively interactive approach, personally teaching and performing the melodious Cantonese music and Nanyin as an intangible cultural heritage, which leads the public to appreciate traditional Chinese music, explores the tight connection between Lingnan culture and modern life, and together experience the vitality and charm of Lingnan culture!
