‘The Ancient Civilisation of the Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties’ Exhibition Panels and Education Kits (Chinese version only)

‘The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: The Ancient Civilisation of the Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties in Henan Province’ exhibition at the Hong Kong Museum of History in 2024 is the first programme of The General History of China Exhibition Series organised by CCPO. It gave members of the public an understanding of the civilisation and history of ancient China, starting from the earliest dynasties. Based on the exhibition, an education kit was designed for schools. The exhibition panels feature six major themes revolving around the civilisation and history of Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties. Through the rich cultural relics of ‘The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: The Ancient Civilisation of the Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties in Henan Province’ Exhibition, students have been shown the establishment and early development of Chinese civilisation, providing a comprehensive understanding of Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties.
