Lesson Plans
The following lesson plans are generously shared by Mr Leung Wai-kit (Director of the Patriotic Education Centre) and teachers who participated in the ‘Teacher Study Tour to Henan on the Ancient Civilisation of the Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties’ co-organised by the CCPO and Education Bureau in 2024. The materials, including cross disciplinary teaching and learning notes as well as learning activity plans based on the concept of ‘Learning History from Cultural Relics’ related to the study tour, are available for teachers' reference and use.

‘The Ancient Civilisation of the Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties’ Exhibition Panels
Based on ‘The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: The Ancient Civilisation of the Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties in Henan Province’ exhibition, the panels include six themes about the civilisation and history of Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties, presenting the continuity and development of Chinese civilisation, and giving a more concrete understanding of Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties via the selected exhibits.
