Based on ‘The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: The Ancient Civilisation of the Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties in Henan Province’ exhibition, the panels include six themes about the civilisation and history of Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties, presenting the continuity and development of Chinese civilisation, and giving a more concrete understanding of Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties via the selected exhibits.

‘An Inseparable Bond, Our Blessed Origin: 60th Anniversary of Dongjiang Water Supply to Hong Kong’ Exhibition Panels
The exhibition showcases Hong Kong’s response to drought in the 1960s, rare historical photos of the Dongjiang-Shenzhen Water Supply Construction Project, and the ongoing efforts of the governments of Guangdong and Hong Kong to ensure the quality and quantity of Dongjiang water supply.

Educational Pamphlet of “Gilded Glory: Chaozhou Woodcarving”
Through approximately 120 sets of exhibits from Guangdong Museum, the exhibition illustrates the practical usage, subject matters and artistic features of Chaozhou woodcarving, while giving the audience a taste of the customs and humanistic spirit of Chaoshan region. The exhibition also features other works of woodcarving under various topics and introduces the customs and traditions of the Chaoshan community in Hong Kong.
